By Taxi
Kick back and relax as our bi-lingual driver (English and Spanish) greets you at the airport and transports you to the LOOKOUT in an air conditioned van. The van will hold up to 9 persons with luggage and costs $150 each way. Drive time is approximately 4 hours.

By Car
Option 1: From San Jose, drive south on the Panamerican Highway toward Cartago and then to San Isidro. From there, follow the sign to Dominical. Take a left onto the "Costanera Sur", the newly paved coastal road. The LOOKOUT at Turtle Beach is 35 kilometers (22 miles) south of Dominical.

Option 2: From San Jose, drive west from Juan Santamaria International Airport near Alajuela to Orotina, Jaco and Quepos. Drive south from Quepos (Manuel Antonio National Park) to Dominical along the "Costanera Sur" coastal road. This route takes 4-6 hrs and is not paved from Quepos to Dominical. The LOOKOUT at Turtle Beach is 35 kilometers (22 miles) south of Dominical.

By Bus
Option 1: From San Jose to San Isidro and then to Uvita (5 hours). From there you can take a bus or taxi to The LOOKOUT at Turtle Beach in Playa Tortuga (15 km).

Option 2: From San Jose to Cortes ( 7 hours). From Cortes you can take a bus or taxi to The LOOKOUT at Turtle Beach in Playa Tortuga (18 km).

By Air
Sansa and Nature Air offer daily 35-minute flights from San Jose to Palmar Sur. Advance reservations are required. Price per person is approx. US$69 - one-way. Visit www.flysansa.com or www.natureair.com.
