Choose from four unique horseback riding tours:

Tour 1: La Cascada $35
This native guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on an interesting two-to four-hour horseback ride through Ojochal forest trails and up a mountain for a spectacular view of Playa Tortuga and the surrounding area. You will stop at a hidden waterfall, where you can choose to take a quick swim or just relax in the shade. After being treated to a fresh fruit drink and enjoying the local residents - toucans and parrots - you'll return to the hotel just in time for lunch.

Tour 2: Las Brizas $35
A beautiful 4-4.5 hour guided ride through the village and across the Tortuga River and up the mountain for a panoramic view of Ca'o Island, Garza Island, the Ballena rock formations and the entire coastline. You'll also enjoy viewing tropical flowers, butterflies, animals, birds and possibly monkeys along the way. The tour includes a rest hour to take photographs and enjoy fresh juices and coconuts cut right from the tree.

Tour 3: La Playa $30
This 2-3 hour ride takes you through rain forest to beautiful Playa Tortuga Beach where you can run your horse and take a dip in the ocean. And you thought this only happened in the movies!

Tour 4: Don Lulo's Nauyaca Waterfall $30
The tour begins with a horse ride to "Lulo's House" where you will be treated to a delicious country-style breakfast. You will then make your way on horseback through tropical rain forest to the falls, where you can take a dip in the refreshing pool before returning for lunch.
